Why we added capacity outside China
Most of our Southeast Asian customers face the same three constraints: a project schedule that cannot slip, an import duty structure that rewards regional origin, and a tender document that sometimes asks for a non-China country of origin. Our Vietnam production base was set up to answer all three at once.
The site now runs additional production lines for perforated metal acoustic panels and PVC-coated fence panels, operating on the same drawings, the same coating specification and the same quality checklists as our headquarters in Anping County, Hebei.
What the expansion changes for buyers
1. Shorter lead times for Southeast Asia
Ocean transit from Vietnam to Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand is measured in days rather than weeks. Combined with local stock of standard panel profiles, this removes the long-tail delay that usually sits between “production finished” and “material on site”.
2. Parallel capacity, not replacement capacity
The two sites run in parallel. When one line is fully loaded — typically in the pre-monsoon and year-end construction peaks — orders can be reallocated without changing supplier, drawings or inspection criteria. For project buyers, that means one contract, two production options.
3. Dual-origin documentation
Certain public tenders and industrial park projects in the region specify origin requirements or preferential duty treatment. We can supply with China origin or Vietnam origin documentation, and we will tell you which option actually fits your project instead of leaving you to guess.
4. No change in specification
Quality consistency is the part buyers ask about most, so it is worth stating plainly. Panels produced in Vietnam use the same base materials, the same PVC coating thickness of 130 μm, the same perforation patterns and the same acceptance criteria. The ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems apply to both sites, and pre-shipment inspection reports follow one template.
How to decide which origin to order from
Three questions usually settle it:
- Where is the project? Southeast Asia and Oceania normally benefit from Vietnam origin on transit time.
- Does the tender restrict origin? If it does, the answer is already made for you — send us the clause and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
- When do you need it on site? For urgent retrofit work, we compare production slot availability at both sites rather than promising a date from one.
